How to find new customers in Las Vegas when you sell to other businesses

The valley is full of businesses that need what you sell. Supply was never the problem. The problem is knowing which ones to talk to this week.

The standard advice works, slowly. Referrals are the best customers you will ever get, and the least predictable. Chamber mixers and networking groups put you in a room with the same thirty faces every week, and some of those faces send real work. None of it scales, and none of it tells you who needs you right now.

Watch for businesses in motion

Businesses buy when something changes, and in this valley that happens about 250 times a week: that is how many new business licences went to Las Vegas Valley addresses in the week of August 10, 2026[1], 189 of them at Las Vegas addresses, 46 in Henderson and 11 in North Las Vegas.

Businesses buy when something changes. They just opened and need everything. They moved and need everything again. They grew into a second location, or their year-end is coming and the books are a mess. If you can see the change, you know when to show up. The rest of the time you are interrupting.

The change shows up in the public record

Most of those moments leave a paper trail: a new license, a renewal date, a building permit. The records are public, and in this valley almost nobody reads them. Renewal dates are a good example. An owner with a renewal coming up is an owner thinking about the business on paper, and that is a good week to be useful to them.

Where your ten a week come from

The city and the county both publish their business files, in different formats, on different schedules, with different columns. We read all of them continuously and reconcile what changes, and send you ten local businesses a week matched to what you sell, each with the date, the reason, and the record behind it. Free, no credit card, and your first ten arrive right away.
